生命何價?近年,青少年自殘及輕生事件頻頻發生,引起社會各界關注青少年處理情緒問題及生命的負面態度。「身前行動」希望在有更多同類事件發生之前,可以透過教育活動,向青少年發放正面訊息,讓他們可以輕鬆、愉快地上一堂生命教育課。本劇旨在透過話劇將嚴肅的生死議題,以輕鬆、活潑和易明的形式表達,讓同學們學習以正面和積極的態度面對逆境,並學會珍惜生命、愛護自己。

It will make the world a better place. In this talk, you can learn some basic tips on showing kindness and spreading sunshine to your loved ones or people around you. You will also know more about the "Happy Living - Peer Counselor Training Program", a program that facilitates you to start off being a person with love and kindness, and make a gentle difference to the world.

The "Happy Living - Peer Counselor Training Program" is organized by Counseling and Wellness Center. Peer Counselors will receive trainings on mental health knowledge and helping skills, then applied what they have learned by reaching out to fellow students and offering support to those in need.

All students are welcome.

Gale Medal for Distinguished Teaching; and in 2011, she was the finalist for the University Grants Committee Teaching Award.

Using local and global examples, we will explore what makes a city that promotes health, wellbeing, and social life in its inhabitants.

Speaker: Prof. Kevin Tam

Kevin is an environmental psychologist. He studies how humans interact with the built and natural environments. This is now his 12th year at the HKUST.

Priority would be given to Year 1 undergraduate students.
